Cool view but not worth it
- What did you like most?We booked the ocean suite which had the aquarium in the bedroom. It was a novel experience which our 3yo son enjoyed.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The layout of the room was very poorly thought-out. For example, there is no outlet in the bathroom so the hairdryer is plugged-in in the corner of the bedroom- where it’s dark. The coffee station is downstairs, but the mini fridge is upstairs- which is up 3 flights of stairs. The entire room is poorly lit, and to make it worse, the master lights shut off when the blinds to the aquarium are opened- so basically, you can either have lights OR the view, but not both. The bathroom is so dark even with all the lights on that it’s impossible to do your makeup in there. Finally, the spa has been closed “since Covid”, but no one seemed to tell them that Covid ended almost 3 years ago and the world has moved on. The only good thing about this hotel was the cool view of the sea life from our room, but definitely overpriced and not worth the price tag! Just go have dinner at the Ocean restaurant for much less.
