Each of the air-conditioned accommodations at Rio Othon Palace has a balcony, cable TV and mini-bar. Some offer views of the sea and a separate seating area. At the Bossa Café, located on the 3rd floor, guests can taste Brazilian and international cuisine, as well as a tradicional 'feijoada' every Saturday. Great staff made the stay!
- What did you like most?Great staff ! Wonderful Carnival experience at Rio Orthon Palace where the attentive and accommodating staff was the best. From the guest relations staff such as Diana, Priscilla and Gabrielle to manager Soraya, everyone with whom we interacted provided top notch service. Our room with a “million dollar” view had some issues, and without question we were relocated to a better room with an even better view. The restaurants, including room service, were all excellent, and highly recommended. Our only disappointment was the massages which were not very good. This is not the newest hotel on the strip but the staff, location and views made the experience a great one.

OK. but I probably would not return there on another Rio visit.
- What did you like most?Breakfast, particularly the fresh mango, was good. The hotel's location was final, right across from the beach and a short walk to many good local restaurants.
- Was there anything you didn't like?The TV had no English language broadcasts. So, unless you are fluent in Portuguese, you have no access to news sites such as BBC, CNN etc.
