Great hotel and excellent subway access
- What did you like most?Great hotel and the location is awesome if you’re taking the subway around the city. I was attending an event at Hudson Yards and It’s a 3 min walk to the B and D trains at grand street which can get you there in about 15 min, including the transfer to the 7. My trip to and from Newark (EWR) was 1h 15m each way including the transfer at Penn Station. Tip: if you’re coming from Penn Station google will tell you to walk on the street to get to the B/D trains at 34th street. This is a hassle if you have a bunch of luggage. Instead of that you can take the A/C/E train from Penn Station downtown to West 4th station. From west 4th you simply walk down to the platform for the B/D trains and only two stops to grant street. The hotel also offers free luggage storage in a secure room so if your flight doesn’t leave until after check-out, mine left at 5pm, you don’t need to worry about pulling your bag around all day.
- Was there anything you didn't like?Lack of elevators would be an issue if you need accessibility options, but if you’re able-bodied it’s not a big deal.
